23/24 SEASON FIXTURE

SENIOR TRAINING 

Senior training will commence Sunday 6th of August at 10:30am. The first official day of pre-season training will commence on August 13th at the same time. All players new and old are welcomeed to attend.

 

 

ELECTION OF OFFICE BEARERS

We recently held our AGM and have elected new offfice bearers for the up-coming season. We would also like to say thanks to Liam Pascoe who after 5 years as president has stepped down. Thanks for all your hard work Lenny! Matt Robinson has chose not to run again for a committee position, we also thank Matt for his contribution.

22/23 SEASON WRAP UP NEWSLETTER

As a club we are super proud to where we got to this 22/23 season as we continue to go from strength to strength, both on and off the field.

SENIOR CRICKET

The A grade side have recently concluded thier season where they finished in 2nd position, at the end of the day rain thwarted thier attempt to chase down Echucas target. 

B grade finished thier campaign on 13th position

C grade finished thier postion in 7th position

 

UNDER 14s

Under 14s continue thier match on Thursday 31/11 as they try and chase down 126 v Echuca

 

UNDER 12s

Under 12s kick off thier campaign this weekend with thier first game of the year on Saturday morning

 

PRACTICE MATCH

A and B grade will hold a practice match this Saturday against Echuca starting at 11am. This will be a full dress rehearsal for the season restart the following week.

 

ROUND 1 CANCELLATION

A grade Round 1 v Rochester has been cancelled due to wet weather. Training will be held on Sunday at 10:30am

 

UNDER 14s

We can announce that Chris Cain has taken on the role as Under 14s coach for this season. Chris brings a great level of leadership and will impart plenty of knowledge to our up and coming stars. We are hoping to field 2 sides oe in the GMC and one in NDCA

 

A-GRADE CAPTAIN

Peter Moore has been announced as our A-grade captain for season 2022/23 taking over from Rhys Bradley. Peter will bring a wealth of knowledge to the role.

 

GIRLS CRICKET

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for our Under 13s girls cricket side. Interested girls will partake in sessions held in Cohuna, Echcua, Moama, Rochester and Kyabram prior to Christmas, which will focus on skill development, modified games and training sessions. These will be run by qualified and experienced femaile cricket coaches. After Christmas the program moves into a series of round robin full scale matches. ANNUAL GOLF DAY

Our annual golf day is fast approaching on the 23rd of September. Start getting your teams together!

 

PRE-SEASON TRAINING 

Pre-Season training will commence Sunday 21tst of August starting at 10:30am at the second oval. All players intending on playing A-grade must attend. New and old players welcome.

 

NEW CLUBROOMS UPDATE

The club is currently in the final phase of receiving quoting for our new building at the second oval. This will will be a multi-purpose facility which will be home to all our cricket teams. There will be changerooms for both boys and girls complete with a new kitchen and bar area. The decking area will provide a great vantage point to watch the cricket and other sports from. Design has been undertaken locally by AKH Design. 

The next step upon final quoting is sourcing funding for the project.
